Covered California Extends Enrollment For Taxpayers Who Were Penalized in 2014.

Where a taxpayer was penalized for not having qualified in 2014, and attests to the fact they were unaware of the penalty, they may enroll through April of 2015 even though open enrollment closed on February 28th.  This is in addition to special enrollments throughout the year for taxpayers with life event changes.
