COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course reviews the structure of the Internal Revenue Code and the various sources available for interpreting federal tax law. It also examines the authority and citability of these sources when researching and supporting positions taken on a tax return.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
After completing this course, participants will be able to identify the structure of the Internal Revenue Code, sources of tax law interpretation, and the citability of those sources when supporting a tax return position.
